👉 Friendship Atlas: World Thinking Day 100th Anniversary Patch
✨ Celebrate 100 Years of World Thinking Day with The Friendship Atlas Adventure!
Leaders, are you ready to honor the 100th anniversary of World Thinking Day with a story-filled journey that celebrates cultures, kindness, and global sisterhood? The Friendship Atlas: World Thinking Day Adventure turns your troop into Friendship Explorers as they “restore” the glowing pages of a magical atlas. Through greeting hunts, shared food tables, culture-inspired crafts, global games, and identity projects, Scouts discover that the world feels closer—and kinder—when we reach across borders with open hearts.
In this immersive program, Scouts will search the room for hidden hello cards in Hospitality Word Hunt + Global Greetings, then gather around a Table of Friendship to share foods or food stories from many cultures. At the Hands That Create station, they’ll design friendship symbols, weave paper “textiles,” or fold hopeful origami cranes. Games of the World keeps everyone moving with LoterĂa Match Dash, Freeze & Move, or a Bayanihan Team Plank March that only works when everyone steps together. The journey ends in Mirror of Identity, where Scouts craft “My Culture, My Story” booklets or Life Flags that celebrate their own families, traditions, and values—proving that their stories belong in the Atlas too.
Whether you run the program in a troop meeting, service unit event, camp day, or a council-wide 100th World Thinking Day celebration, The Friendship Atlas blends story, activity, and reflection into an experience that helps every Scout feel curious, connected, and proud to be part of a global movement that has been growing strong for a century.

The room glows with color: woven mats and symbol cards on the wall, paper cranes hanging like wishes, flags waving, and plates or pictures from many cultures scattered across the Table of Friendship. Scouts gather in a circle, passports in hand, for one last “Atlas Restored” moment. As leaders stamp the final page and present the Friendship Atlas: World Thinking Day 100th Anniversary patch and certificates, Scouts grin at one another—proud, a little tired, and full of stories. Laughter, thank-yous, and goodbye greetings in many languages fill the space. In that moment, each Scout feels connected to 100 years of World Thinking Day traditions and to millions of Scouts around the globe, knowing she didn’t just learn about the world… she stepped into it as a friend.
