Lead with love, inspire with passion, and wear this patch with pride. You are a Girl Scout Leader!"

Here's some activities leaders you can do to commemorate your amazing journey.

This activity is ideal for the leader to take back to the girls.
For the activity or game, here are a few ideas:
  1. Scavenger Hunt: Create a scavenger hunt for your troop to complete, with clues leading them to various inspirational quotes or stories about past Girl Scout leaders. At the end, award each scout who completes the hunt with an award or patch such as Troops Can Do Anything Patch or Troop Awesome Patch.
  2. Role Model Interviews: Have your scouts interview female role models in their SU. After the interviews, have each scout share what they learned and how they were inspired. Award the the girls who demonstrated a deep understanding of the qualities of a good leader.
  3. Create a Vision Board: Have your scouts create a vision board that reflects their goals and aspirations. Encourage them to think about how they can be a beacon of hope, a source of inspiration, and a role model to others. Award all the girls who created thoughtful and inspiring vision boards.

This idea is great for SUM to offer to leaders at a Service Unit Meeting:
"Leadership Quotes" this activity that encourages leaders to reflect on and share their favorite leadership quotes?
Here's how it can work:
  1. Provide each leader with a blank card and a set of markers or colored pencils.
  2. Ask the leaders to write down their favorite leadership quote on the card and decorate it with colors and designs that reflect the message of the quote.
  3. After all the cards have been completed, have each leader share their quote with the rest of the group and explain why it is meaningful to them.
  4. Display the cards on a bulletin board or in a common area where everyone can see them. This will create a visual reminder of the leadership qualities that are important to the troop.
  5. Award the "Beacon of Hope" crystal ball patch to all Girl Scout leaders who completed the activity and demonstrated their commitment to being a beacon of hope, a source of inspiration, and a role model for generations to come.

Create a "Leadership Journal" activity for Girl Scout leaders to reflect on their leadership journey and document their growth and accomplishments.
Here's how it can work:
  1. Provide each Girl Scout leader with a journal and instructions on how to use it. Encourage them to use the journal to reflect on their leadership journey and set goals for the future.
  2. Include prompts and exercises in the journal to help leaders think about their leadership skills, such as:
  • Write about a time when you overcame a leadership challenge.
  • Describe a leader who has inspired you and explain why.
  • Set a leadership goal for the next month and make a plan to achieve it.
  1. Ask leaders to share their reflections and accomplishments with each other through a private Facebook group or other online platform. This will provide a sense of community and support among leaders, even if they can't meet in person.
  2. At the end of a set time period (such as a month or a year), award the "Beacon of Hope" patch to all leaders who completed the Leadership Journal activity and demonstrated their commitment to being a beacon of hope, a source of inspiration, and a role model for generations to come.
