Have you thought about what JGL would do if she was still with us?
Tradition holds that Juliette Gordon Low made a habit of standing on her head and doing a cartwheel each year on her birthday. “Daisy” wanted to prove she could still keep up with the Girl Scouts.
Celebrate Halloween and throw a Birthday Bash to honor JGL like never before!
This patch features JGL in a 1900's Victorian Edwardian evening dress wearing her pearls standing behind a spinning wheel. The spinner illustrates games, music, a pink cancer ribbon that honors JGL's battle with breast cancer, and a jewel. In 1914 JGL Sold her pearls. She said "Jewels are not important, but my Girl Scouts are, they need money more than I need pearls".
Spin the wheel and celebrate with songs, games, cake, and more. Have girls take action during Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is also in October, or do something to serve others.
