Welcome to the World Thinking Day 2024: Our World, Our Thriving Future Program, a meaningful global adventure that transforms a troop meeting, Thinking Day celebration, service project, or community event into an unforgettable experience focused on friendship, environmental stewardship, global connections, and making the world a better place.
This isn't just a World Thinking Day activity.
It's an interactive mission where girls discover how environmental challenges and global poverty are connected, explore ways they can make a difference in their own communities, and build friendships that stretch across the world. Girls learn that even small actions can create powerful change when people work together.
Inspired by the 2024 World Thinking Day theme, Our World, Our Thriving Future: The Environment and Global Poverty, girls become problem-solvers, community helpers, environmental stewards, and global citizens as they complete hands-on challenges designed to create real-world impact.
Throughout the adventure, girls will:

🥫 Local Little Food Pantry — girls help address hunger in their own community by creating and supporting a neighborhood food pantry that provides resources for those in need.
🚜 Future Farming Diorama — explore sustainable agriculture by designing a model farm featuring biodiversity, healthy soil, smart water management, and responsible farming practices.
📢 Spreading the Word — girls create videos, songs, skits, or puppet shows to educate others about World Thinking Day and environmental stewardship.
🌎 Connect With a Partner Troop — use technology to meet Girl Scouts and Girl Guides from other communities and learn about their lives, cultures, and experiences.
♻️ Partner Troop Eco-SWAP — exchange eco-friendly craft ideas with another troop and create projects using recycled and sustainable materials.
